Starting the Quest
Talk to the young boy in Taverley.

Cheese
Leather gloves
Weapons/Armor to fight four weak monsters


Walkthrough

Getting Started
Talk to the boy at the entrance to Taverly. He will tell you he kicked his ball over the fence like an idiot and he wants you to get it back.

Breaking In
Go to the front door of the house. It's locked. Search the pot directly north of the door to get the key, and go inside. Read the diary. Equip your leather gloves and head down into the basement. Go through the gate (if you don't have leather gloves you'll take some damage.) and search the cupboard to get a magnet.

Head back upstairs and go to the southern door. It's locked as well. Drop your cheese in front of the mousehole, and use the magnet on the mouse. The door will unlock.

The Garden
You will now be in the witch's garden. Simply walk between the bushes when she can't see you. Make your way to the fountain. Do not go into the area where she paces around. Search the fountain to get the shed key. Make your way to the shed.

The Experiment
Inside the shed, a purple creature will spawn. It will not attack you, but if you try to take the ball it will lower your combat stats a little. Fight it, and it will transform. The forms it takes are:

1) Odd Experiment (Level 19)
2) Spider (Level 30)
3) Bear (Level 42)
4) Wolf (Level 53)

Once the Experiment is dead, take the ball. Talk to the boy to complete the quest!
NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE CAUGHT BY THE WITCH, YOU WILL HAVE TO GET MORE CHEESE TO RE-ENTER THE GARDEN! IF YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH THE BALL, YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-FIGHT THE EXPERIMENT AGAIN TOO!
