Varrock Achievement Diary
The Varrock Achievement diary is a set of tasks that can be completed within Varrock and the surrounding area to attain special rewards. Your progress on the achievement diary can be seen by clicking the blue star in the top right of your quest menu to switch to the achievement diary menu.
The diary is broken into three tiers, each giving a different reward. The reward from the previous tier must be claimed at the appropriate NPC before the next reward can be claimed.

Reward
Speak to Rat Burgiss, south of Varrock near the fence shortcut, to receive the Varrock Armor 1. While equipped, it has the following effects:
- You can access the furnace in Edgeville
- Mining ore up to coal has a chance to mine a second ore
- Smelting metals up to Steel has a chance to smelt two at once when using the Edgeville Furnace (still uses resources, just faster)
Rat Burgiss will also give you an experience lamp, which can be used to gain 2,250 experience in any skill of your choice.
Finally, Zaff will sell you up to 16 battlestaves per day at 7,000 coins each through his Buy-Battlestaves option.

Reward
Speak to Reldo in the Varrock library to claim your reward:
- Varrock Armor 2, which has all the benefits of Varrock Armor 1, plus:
- Extra ores and bars works up to Mithril.
- Smithing items has a chance to act slightly faster
- Antique lamp which awards 11,250 experience to any skill of your choice.
- Zaff will sell you up to 32 battlestaves per day.

Reward
Speak to Vannaka to claim your reward:
- Varrock Armor 3, which has all the benefits of Varrock Armor 2, plus:
- Extra ores and bars works up to Adamantite
- While worn, you may use the bank at the Cooking Guild. This armor also acts as a Chef's hat for the purpose of getting into the Cooking Guild.
- Antique lamp which awards 22,500 experience to any skill of your choice
- Zaff will sell you up to 64 battlestaves per day.
